To create this ring in solid silver 925/1000 (38.1 grams) I used the lost wax casting technique.

The tray measures 2.25 x 2.3 cm with a simple appearance but with worked and harmonious shaping and finishes.

The silver is patinated, aged reinforcing the effect of the final hammering.

We can see that the metal has been brutalized, but the polishing gives it a soft shape with unique reflections.

I sculpted it entirely in wax using a saw as the only tool in order to melt it into silver.

Before applying the patina so that my work has even more relief, I hammered it.

The gold is melted on the silver like lava that would cover the walls of a volcano.

To achieve this effect, the gold is heated to more than 1000 ° to fuse with the silver, I particularly like this technique which gives a surprising result each time.

For the finish, the silver is patinated, aged voluntarily, the gold contrasts with its shine, the unique effect is reinforced by the opal and the raw aesthetics of the ring.

Before becoming a jewel I sculpted it entirely in wax.

Set with an emerald with a deep green of a beautiful shine (0.10 carat).

I make a lot of rings as they come out of the forge, the metal is patinated, aged giving a raw effect.

A rough work of silver.

But here this piece where the silver is rarely shiny very little patinated highlights the emerald very well.
