French Collection
Here is a small series of rings available in several hammered styles. They were created in the style of origami.
To start my creations, I stretch the metal to form an oval plate, then I fold the two sides to shape the edges, and finally I bend the resulting strip to make a ring.
For the finishes, a beautiful hammered effect and an aged patina that brings out the hollows and roughness of these jewels.
This ring in 925/1000 silver (12.2 grams) was born from this idea. An idea that allowed me to create a wide ring, 1.95 cm wide, simple, light despite its massive appearance which I think will be perfect for those who do not like heavy signet rings but appreciate bold rings.

In this Krazy Stones collection, Anthony Barrouyer creates jewelry from French coins "La Semeuse" made of silver.
From a historical perspective, it is not precise to determine the invention of currency, but we know that gold and silver have been used as a means of exchange since 4000 BC.
Regarding "La Semeuse," it was introduced in 1887 and her effigy was used during the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Republics, even among the three French models of the Euro. In 1887, Oscar Roty, a renowned engraver, designed a medal for the Ministry of Agriculture, but the project was left unfinished. Eight years later, Paul Doumer, Minister of Finance, chose Oscar Roty to engrave new coins in order to create "a new currency [...] in line with the new and Republican ideas of France." The engraver reused the effigy of the agricultural reward, with the rural aspect fading for an idealized representation. The image sparked controversy as some believed that this woman with a Phrygian cap was sowing "disorder, anarchy, and weeds," while the real idea was to illustrate the spread of republican ideas promoted by France worldwide and the spirit of freedom. This concept aligns perfectly with the spirit of Anthony Barrouyer's Krazy Stones creations.
