Héphaïstos Stones Collection
BG-Hsc-130CtThis solid silver ring (18.7 grams) is set with a black diamond (1.30 carats) a gem with unusual characteristics.
Today, the main theory of researchers is that this diamond would come from a collision between our planet and an asteroid dating back hundreds of millions of years (2.6 to 3.8 billion years BC).
The debris caused by the collision would have spread in the atmosphere and would have landed in Africa as well as in Brazil.
This black gem is therefore distinguished from other diamonds whose origin is volcanic and makes us dream because of its genesis and its components.
The final rendering is unique, the lines are light but marked by the work of the metal.
Hephaestus Stones Collection - Diamond and Sterling Silver Ring
Material: 925/1000 sterling silver
Stone: Black Diamond (1.30 carats)
Weight: 18.7 grams
Belonging to the Greek Pantheon, Hephaestus is the god of fire and forges.
Like a blacksmith, Anthony Barrouyer melts the metal, models his jewel, hammering it, digging it, folding it.
The silver with the legal title 925/1000 undergoes a brutal, rough treatment, the result after polishing the rings, bracelets, necklaces, rough, singular and harmonious.
Each of the pieces (krazy stones) is worked by hand, one by one, your future antique-style forged jewel is unique in its shape and its effects.
Uniqueness reinforced by the blackened patina applied to the 925/1000 silver which gradually fades over time. Alive, the jewel will reveal areas where the shiny aspect of the metal will regain its rights.
