Héphaïstos Stones Collection
HSC-LAZgm1To create this ring in solid silver 925/1000 (18.6 grams) I used the technique of lost wax casting.
The tray measures 2 x 1.5 cm
Before becoming a jewel I sculpted it entirely in wax using as the only tool a saw using each time a different cutting angle, I made different layers in order to melt it in silver.
I then applied the patina so that my work has even more relief.
Hephaestus Stones Collection - Lapis Lazuli and Sterling Silver Ring
Material: 925/1000 Sterling Silver
Stone: Lapis Lazuli
Weight: 18.6 grams
Belonging to the Greek Pantheon, Hephaestus is the god of fire and forges.
Like a blacksmith, Anthony Barrouyer melts the metal, models his jewel, hammering it, digging it, folding it.
The silver with the legal title 925/1000 undergoes a brutal, rough treatment, the result after polishing the rings, bracelets, necklaces, rough, singular and harmonious.
Each of the pieces (krazy stones) is worked by hand, one by one, your future antique-style forged jewel is unique in its shape and effects.
Uniqueness reinforced by the blackened patina applied to the 925/1000 silver which gradually fades over time. Alive, the jewel will reveal areas where the shiny aspect of the metal will regain its rights.
Hephaestus Collection or the passionate work of metal, astonishing and particular jewels like you.
