French Collection
It was created in the style of origami.
To start, I stretch the metal to form an oval plate, then I fold the two sides to shape the edges and insert the piece, finally I bend the obtained strip to make a ring.
For the finishing touches, a beautiful hammered texture and an aged patina that highlight the hollows and roughness of this jewel.
This 14-gram 925/1000 silver piece ring was born from this idea.
An idea that allowed me to create a 1.9 cm wide ring, simple and light despite its massive appearance, which I think will be perfect for those who do not like heavy signet rings but who appreciate bold statement rings.
For perfect comfort, select your finger size when ordering, and I will adjust the ring in my workshop before sending it to you.

In this Krazy Stones collection, Anthony Barrouyer creates jewelry using French coins "La Semeuse" made of silver.
For the historical aspect, it is important to note that the exact origin of money is difficult to pinpoint, but gold and silver have been used as a means of exchange since 4000 BC.
As for "La Semeuse," she was introduced in 1887 and her effigy appeared during the III, IV, and V Republics, even among the three French models of the Euro. In 1887, Oscar Roty, a renowned engraver, designed a medal for the Ministry of Agriculture, but the project was left unfinished. Eight years later, Paul Doumer, Minister of Finance, selected Oscar Roty to engrave new coins to create "A new currency [...] in line with the new Republican ideas of France." The engraver chose to depict the effigy of the agricultural award, transforming its rural aspect into an idealized representation. This image sparked controversy as some believed that the woman wearing a Phrygian cap was sowing "disorder, anarchy, and darnel," whereas the true intent was to illustrate the spread of Republican ideas by France worldwide and the spirit of freedom. This concept aligns perfectly with the spirit of Anthony Barrouyer's Krazy Stones creations.
