Héphaïstos Stones Collection
1701216To create this 0.16 carat brown diamond ring in solid 925/1000 silver (4.8 grams), 750/1000 gold (2.6 grams) I used the lost wax casting technique.
Before becoming a jeweler I sculpted it entirely in wax using a saw as the only tool, using a different cutting angle each time, I made different layers in order to melt it in silver.
To achieve this effect, the gold is heated to over 1000° to fuse with the silver, I particularly like this technique which gives a surprising result each time.
I then applied the patina so that my work has even more relief.

Belonging to the Greek Pantheon, Hephaestus is the god of fire and forges.
Like a blacksmith, Anthony Barrouyer melts the metal, models his jewel, hammering it, digging it, folding it.
The silver with the legal title 925/1000 undergoes a brutal, rough treatment, the result after polishing the rings, bracelets, necklaces, rough, singular and harmonious.
Each of the pieces (krazy stones) is worked by hand, one by one, your future forged jewel of antique style is unique by its shape and its effects.
Uniqueness reinforced by the blackened patina applied to the 925/1000 silver which gradually fades over time. Alive, the jewel will reveal areas where the shiny appearance of the metal will regain its rights.
