To create this solid 925/1000 sterling silver ring (27.8 grams) and Fossil (6.5 carats)

Before becoming a piece of jewelry, I fully sculpted it in wax using only a saw and a fissure milling cutter with a different cutting angle each time. I created different layers to cast it in silver.

I then applied the patina to give even more depth to my work.

For perfect comfort, select your finger size when ordering, and I will adjust the ring in my workshop before sending it to you.

Geology, a science whose main object of study is the Earth, encompasses various disciplines. Anthony Barrouyer's collection of rings associated with this theme also presents a unique style of jewelry, with a common spirit but different characteristics. The rings, pendants, and bracelets are made of solid silver at the legal standard of 925/1000, sometimes combined with gold at the legal standard of 750/1000, with or without fine or precious stones. For some creations, the aesthetics achieved through the work of angles, hollows, and openings in the metal evoke the physiognomy of rocky landscapes, cliffs, crevices, steep slopes, marked by the erosion of time.

Sometimes, the streaks in the ring's metal recall the layering of geological sedimentary rocks that can be observed in rocks. Other pieces of jewelry in 925/1000 silver and 750/1000 gold may resemble volcanic rocks, specifically the appearance of volcanic rocks after an eruption, like scoria, where metals seem to have fused or melted, or even cracked, under extreme heat.

Pendants from the Krazy Stones collection may evoke plate tectonics, with the superposition of different pieces of 925/1000 silver creating a geometric yet asymmetrical style.

Finally, for other pieces, all of which are unique, there is a reference to speleology, specifically to stalactites and stalagmites, forming and evolving in caves. Their shapes are irregular, elongated, and at times they seem to come together to form columns.

As you may have understood, the Geologic Collection is a visual journey, with a raw and distinct style where the aesthetics of the jewelry underscore the physical history of our complex and secretive planet.
