Héphaïstos Stones Collection
1701043To create this ring I used the lost wax casting technique.
The tray measures 2.5 x 2.5 cm set with a Turquoise.
It was a sacred stone for the Egyptians, Persians, Tibetans, Indians, Mayans, Aztecs and Incas of sky blue, blue green, apple green when it is altered.
The "turquoise blue" shade is rare.
Before becoming a jewel I sculpted it entirely in wax using a saw as the only tool, using a different cutting angle each time, I made different layers in order to melt it in silver.
I then applied the patina so that my work has even more relief.
Hephaestus Stones Collection - Turquoise and Sterling Silver Ring
Material: 925/1000 Sterling Silver
Stone: Turquoise (38.07 carats)
Weight: 50.9 grams
Belonging to the Greek Pantheon, Hephaestus is the god of fire and forges.
Like a blacksmith, Anthony Barrouyer melts the metal, models his jewel, hammering it, digging it, folding it.
The silver with the legal title 925/1000 undergoes a brutal, rough treatment, the result after polishing the rings, bracelets, necklaces, rough, singular and harmonious.
Each of the pieces (krazy stones) is worked by hand, one by one, your future antique-style forged jewel is unique in its shape and effects.
Uniqueness reinforced by the blackened patina applied to the 925/1000 silver which gradually fades over time. Alive, the jewel will reveal areas where the shiny appearance of the metal will regain its rights.
Héphaïstos Collection or the passionate work of metal, astonishing and special jewels like you.
