Set with an opal, this pendant in solid silver 925/1000 (10.2 grams) and Gold 750/1000 (3.85 grams).

This piece in silver or gold is shiny giving it a unique raw effect reinforced by its stone and its shape.

Before becoming a piece of jewelry, I sculpted it entirely in wax using a scabbard as the only tool, each time with a different cutting angle. I created different layers in order to cast it in silver.

Gold is melted onto silver like lava covering the walls of a volcano.

To achieve this effect, gold is heated to more than 1000° to fuse with silver.

For the finish, the silver is patinated, aged deliberately, the gold contrasts with its shine, the unique effect is reinforced by the opal and the raw aesthetic of the pendant.

Geology, which is a science whose main object of study is the earth, is divided into multiple disciplines. Anthony Barrouyer's ring collection associated with this theme also presents a style of jewelry, with a common spirit but different characteristics. The rings, pendants, bracelets are made of solid silver with a legal fineness of 925/1000, sometimes associated with gold with a legal fineness of 750/1000, with or without fine or precious stones. For certain creations, the aesthetic rendered by the work of angles, hollows, openings in the metal, evokes the appearance of rocky landscapes, cliffs, crevices, steep, marked by the erosion of time.

Sometimes the striations in the metal of the ring recall the superposition of geological sedimentary layers that can be observed in the rocks. Other jewelry in 925/1000 silver and 750/1000 gold can relate to volcanism and more precisely the appearance of volcanic rocks after eruption such as slag, the metals seem to have merged or melted, or even to have exploded, under the effect of extreme heat.

Pendants from the Krazy Stones collection can evoke the tectonics of plates, with the superposition of different pieces of 925/1000 silver giving a geometric but asymmetrical style.

Finally for other pieces, all unique I remind you, we find a reference to caving, more specifically to stalactites and stalagmites, born and evolving in caves. Their shapes are irregular, elongated, and sometimes they seem to come together to form columns.

You have understood it Geologic Collection, visual journey, raw style, very marked where the aesthetics of the jewelry underline the physical history of our very complex and secret planet.
