Creating jewelry is an art that allows one to express their creativity while crafting unique pieces that tell a story.

As a designer, I chose raw silver and malachite to create a ring, a choice that combines both raw beauty and finesse.

Silver, with its subtle shine and malleability, provides a perfect background to showcase malachite, known for its beautiful green veins that seem to capture the beauty of nature itself.

For perfect comfort, select your finger size when ordering, and I will adjust the ring in my workshop before sending it to you.

Geology, a science whose main object of study is the Earth, encompasses multiple disciplines. Anthony Barrouyer's collection of rings associated with this theme also presents a jewelry style with a common spirit but different characteristics. The rings, pendants, and bracelets are made of solid silver with a legal fineness of 925/1000, sometimes combined with gold at a legal fineness of 750/1000, with or without semiprecious or precious stones. For some creations, the aesthetics achieved through the work of angles, hollows, and openings in the metal evoke the features of rocky landscapes, cliffs, crevices, escarpments, marked by the erosion of time.

At times, the streaks in the metal of the ring recall the layering of geological sedimentary rocks that can be observed in rock formations. Other pieces of jewelry in 925/1000 silver and 750/1000 gold may resemble volcanic features, specifically volcanic rocks after an eruption, such as slag, where metals appear to have fused or melted, or even shattered under extreme heat.

Pendants from the Krazy Stones collection may evoke plate tectonics, with the superposition of different pieces of 925/1000 silver creating a geometric yet asymmetrical style.

Lastly, for other unique pieces, there is a reference to speleology, specifically to stalactites and stalagmites, forming and evolving in caves. Their shapes are irregular, elongated, and sometimes they seem to merge to form columns.

As you can see, the Geologic Collection is a visual journey, with a raw, distinctive style where the aesthetics of the jewelry underscore the physical history of our complex and secretive planet.
