Silver ring adorned with magnificent turquoise stones.

The deep and luminous blue turquoise is set in a finely crafted silver frame, enhancing its natural beauty.

The silver reflections dancing on the polished and hammered surface of the ring add a touch of rawness to this creation.

The delicate details of the silver around the stone seem to capture the light, creating a striking contrast with the vibrant color of the turquoise.

This ring embodies the harmony between the timeless elegance of silver and the natural vibrant beauty of turquoise, making it a striking and refined piece of jewelry.

Geology, a science primarily focused on the study of the earth, encompasses various disciplines. Anthony Barrouyer's collection of rings associated with this theme showcases jewelry pieces with a common spirit but distinct characteristics. The rings, pendants, and bracelets are made of solid silver at a legal standard of 925/1000 sometimes combined with gold at a legal standard of 750/1000, with or without semi-precious or precious stones. In some creations, the aesthetics achieved through the manipulation of angles, hollows, and openings in the metal evoke the features of rocky landscapes, cliffs, crevices, rugged terrains marked by the erosion of time.

Sometimes, the striations in the metal of the ring recall the layering of geological sedimentary beds observed in rocks. Other jewelry pieces made of 925/1000 silver and 750/1000 gold may resemble volcanic formations, specifically the appearance of volcanic rocks after an eruption, such as slag, where metals seem to have fused or melted, or even shattered under extreme heat.

Pendants from the Krazy Stones collection may evoke plate tectonics, with the overlay of different pieces of 925/1000 silver creating geometric yet asymmetrical styles.

Lastly, for other unique pieces, there is a reference to speleology, specifically stalactites and stalagmites forming and evolving in caves. Their shapes are irregular, elongated, and sometimes they appear to merge to form columns.

As you have understood, Geologic Collection is a visual journey, with a raw and distinctive style where the aesthetic of the jewelry pieces emphasizes the physical history of our complex and secretive planet.
