One Piece Collection
Origami carries within it a deep cultural and philosophical meaning.
It embodies the idea of transformation, from simplicity to complexity, from flat to three-dimensional, from ordinary to extraordinary.
Each fold represents a step towards creation, a journey where the artist becomes a storyteller of silent tales.
Here is a small series of rings in various hammered styles.
In my creations, I start by stretching the metal to form an oval sheet, then I fold the two sides to shape the edges, and finally I bend the resulting strip to make a ring.
For the finishing touches, a beautiful hammered texture and an aged patina that highlights the hollows and roughness of these jewels.

Why One Piece?
Anthony, for this collection of rings, uses a single piece of legally stamped 925/1000 silver for each creation, sometimes associating it with 925/1000 silver "chain mail." He may also set gemstones on certain pieces by simply folding the edges of the ring over the mineral.
This work is done in the style of the Japanese folk art Origami, where a single piece of paper is typically used to create a folded model, with the most famous being the paper crane.
In origami, the paper can be cut or glued. For his jewelry work, Anthony Barrouyer uses saws and files to cut and shape, and 925/1000 silver solder to join and secure the two opposite sides of the ring body formed by the folded and refolded plate.
